After working as a personal tutor for the past three years, I’ve seen first hand how much of a difference one-on-one support can make in a student’s confidence and results. At the same time, I also understand that many families struggle to access quality tutoring because of high costs. The Excel Academy is focused on delivering affordable, accessible learning support to students across the country. By keeping overheads low, using flexible online sessions, and drawing on my experience as a tutor, I’m able to provide high-quality 1 to 1 and online tutoring at a fraction of the usual price. My goal is to make sure that every student, no matter their background, has the chance to get the help they need to succeed.
How do we do it?
We keep our tutoring affordable by focusing on efficiency and accessibility rather than unnecessary overheads. We have a team of tutors across the country, maintaining low travel times for anyone in need, while also making sessions more flexible for students and families. We also use carefully designed resources and streamlined systems to reduce admin time, so the focus stays on teaching and learning. This approach allows us to provide the same level of personalized support as traditional tutoring, but at a much lower price, ensuring that quality education remains within reach for every student.
